The company's corporate site was going through a re-design out of all its web properties. I was given the opportunity to work alongside the senior developer within the front-end dev team I was a part of to provide a few initial layouts that would later be presented to the stakeholders.
The messaging to realy to the audiance was pretty simple. Show how to convey a company that focus' in the eduction sector and is a marketing firm for over 30+ website assets so potential finance firms would work with them in helping to provide students with financing options and offer tools to help fund their eduction.

DESIGN ITERATION COMPS
I was given the opportunity to work on some design concepts for the masthead of the new website for the company. The Marketing Director was utilizing an outside agency but they were not producing layouts to their satisfaction. Since I came into the comapny with a background in visual design they gave me the opportunity to work on some layouts to see if we could keep the design work in-house. Below are some of those concepts that I came up with while working with with the Senior Front-End Developer, Joe Taylor for this project that we then presented to the CEO and Marketing Director.

What did I learn from this project?
This project was short lived and ended up being re-designed again a year later because the company ended up getting acquired by a new corporation within a couple of months and it got another facelift with new features. When the project was presented to me initially I thought I was only be providing concept ideas for the senior developer to possibly work with as inspiration but was informed we were going with a majority of my comp work to present to the stakeholders. So it was a nice surprise to work on the main website for the company to which it got some views for a bit and other departments became aware of my other skills in visual design besides coming in to work as a front-end developer for thier team.
