Colliers is a global Commercial Real Estate marketing firm that offers portfolio advisory and marketing services, asset management, investment sales, and debt & equity financing solutions to companies and private and institutional investors.
I worked creatively and combined talents as a web designer, developer and print production associate. Responsible for the look and feel of multiple websites, landing pages, emails and campaigns, focused on design, usability and ease of navigation as well as the development and maintenance of back-end functionality and content management. Concentrated largely on web production and development by supporting corporate and property-specific print materials and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Create, update, maintain, and administer multiple websites using HTML, CSS, JS, PHP
- Understand browser compatibility issues, web and mobile standards.
- Develop design standards and built HTML emails, invitations, newsletters utilizing HubSpot and Constant Contact to create usable template and template pieces.
- Lead digital marketing initiatives.
- Analyze performance of web traffic and provide regular reporting on conversion and campaign effectiveness.
- Define strategies to improve awareness, reach, and web traffic (Google Analytics).
- Conceptualize and design creative concepts for presentations and collateral.
- Update web elements and content on corporate and property-specific websites using Microsoft’s Sitecore CMS platform.
- Administer and leverage social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, etc.
- Bring innovative and fresh ideas to the team and stay current with technology, trends, and new ideas for content management and process improvements.

Worked on various projects for a college student financial-aid marketing company that has over 30+ sites. Under the guidance of two senior front-end developers utilizing an Agile software development process, focus was on modern responsive layouts, centered around conversion rate optimization and SEO.
- Assisted engineering team to migrate website code from flat php files to Kohana framework.
- Collaborated on design projects such as providing UI design concepts for Edvisors corporate site by contributing design layouts for the “above-the-fold” section of the homepage. In addition, provided online form landing page designs for later use in A/B testing.
- Re-designed marketing materials such as media-kits, event banners, and web banner ads. Streamlined existing design of logos throughout the product lines so they would appear consistent and scale across various mediums.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) projects included reviewing documented performance audits to evaluate a site’s health and provide reports from findings. Optimized sites by using best code hygiene practices on outdated pages and reducing graphic file sizes to improve page speed. Attended monthly on-the-job training covering the latest SEO market trends.
- Reported bugs and other maintenance issues as well as Q/A test work on an as-needed basis.

- Web duties included posting content provided by the production manager and sales staff on a weekly basis. Created in-house online web ads and provided metrics of online traffic when requested by sales staff. Designed and broadcasted e-newsletter campaigns and maintained several distribution lists. Redesigned ajot.com website and used best practices in SEO techniques to increase web traffic and maintained social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
- Print production duties included preparing classified ads, page layout of news press releases, color correcting photos, and processing editorial corrections provided by proofreader. Designed several marketing collateral and display advertising artwork pieces to appear in both print publication and online website.

The Web Design & Interactive Media program is about design and development of websites & interactive software products. It encompasses many fields within the realm of new media, interactive media or digital media and gave a solid foundation in design & development of any media product that is delivered interactively (PC's, kiosks, museum displays, tablets, mobile). This work is an essential part of business, education, scientific, and entertainment industries worldwide.
Coursework included design fundamentals in color theory, typography, illustration, digital image manipulation, and basic web technologies. Web skills learned included latest programming & scripting languages and techniques for design, animation, and data handling.
Students combined tech skills with design to advance an organization's communications, drive its marketing strategy and increase business opportunities. The program also introduced courses on interactive media authoring, video and project management skills.

The NortheastPHP Conference is a 2-day web developer conference focused on PHP, Web Technology, Design, and UX. Which brought in over 300 attendees from across the northeast and beyond.
Assisted with the logo and branding for this event for it's first year. Helped with additional print collateral. The logo was re-purposed by other volunteer members where it appeared on t-shirts, badges, bags, and additional signage.
