Annually, Colliers International (Boston) orchestrates a highly-anticipated conference in January, a noteworthy gathering that brings together the finest brokers from across the Greater Boston area. Each year, a unique theme sets the stage, and in the particular year in question, the choice was an unforgettable concert theme. During my tenure with the company, I witnessed this remarkable event flourish and grow in size year after year. In fact, it emerged as one of the most extensively attended and acclaimed events of the year, creating a resounding buzz in the industry.
Here is a closer look at the high-fidelity comps for this landing page. Included during that year were animations to pull the design piece together to give a more modern look than previous years. The content was getting better year after year and the audience coming in grew even bigger. It was also the second year in which we were utilizing HubSpot to handle the campaign as the analytics were tighter and could also keep competeitors out of RSVP-ing based on email domains they were using which was harder in prev years.
Here is a video of that years conference to showcase the production that went into bringing people from all over the industry from the Greater Boston area to attend Boston's Colliers International commercial real estate seminar.
These are the high-fidelity comps for the email drip campaigns that went out in anticipation of the 2020 conference.
Since we were going with a concert theme at a concert venue space, we quickly looked through concert and festival sites on Pinterest and other resources to generate some ideas for the landing page layout. Here are just a few of those samples.
These campaigns were meticulously crafted for Colliers International's annual CRE seminar held in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2020, the branding and design elements for the event's theme were designed in-house by our skilled print graphics team.
Building upon the foundation laid by their initial design work for the event's marketing print materials, my role involved the design and coding (HTML/CSS/JS) of the event registration landing pages. Drawing inspiration from feedback provided by our graphics team, I created design concepts using Adobe XD to seamlessly carry the event's aesthetic throughout these pages.
Notably, for these landing pages, we introduced animation for the first time, adding a captivating visual element that harmonized with the concert-like theme envisioned by the marketing department. Building upon data from previous seminars, we observed that our audience predominantly accessed these campaigns on mobile devices. As a result, ensuring responsive design across all platforms was paramount, as these invitations were sent to all of our esteemed clients.

Additionally, I assisted in crafting the remaining email campaigns. By slicing graphic assets and writing the HTML/CSS for integration into HubSpot. Subsequently, I collaborated with the Marketing Director to adapt the email layouts with various messaging that would be deployed in a drip campaign, serving as reminders to the subscriber list as the event date approached.
